No More Demo….NDC Banned From Further Protests In Accra

The restraining order granted by Justice Elfreda Amy Dankyi is expected to prevent the opposition party from demonstrating until January 10, 2021.

The Police have however “drawn the attention of the general public especially sympathizers, followers, and supporters of the NDC, to the restrictions order, and compliance“.

Sympathizers of the NDC have for the past two weeks organized numerous street protests following the declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as President-elect in the just-ended polls by the electoral commission.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has described the EC’s verdict as unfair to favour the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

His position has urged NDC supporters to hit the streets to demand that the announcement be overturned.
