Chieftaincy Minister Tour Registration Centers in Ketu North Municipality
Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Honorable Kofi Dzamesi together with party secretary for Ketu North Ohene Francis alongside the media on Monday 13th July 2020 made a tour to a number of registration centers in the municipality for monitoring and also to distribute hundreds of nose mask and an undisclosed amount of money to all party agents
The gesture was to complement the government’s effort in curbing the spread of the corona virus in Ghana
This exercise is one of its numerous kind since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus as part of the dedicated efforts putting in place to fight against the pandemic in the municipality
Dzodze Kuli, Dzodze Apeyime, Dzodze Adagbledu, Tamekope, Atiagome, Ehi, Dekporyia, Klenomadi, Adevukorpe among others are some of the centers that the Minister toured.
Ghana’s corona virus case as at Monday 13th July shot up 24,988 per the latest update by the Ghana health service with death toll still at 139 as 21,067 persons who tested positive for the virus have recorded / discharged and active case count at 3,782
Speaking to the EC representative monitored by the media, the honorable minister however entreats them not to allow anyone without accreditation to come to the center.
“First of all, congratulations for the good work you are doing for the betterment of mother Ghana. I pray we will have a smooth exercise he stated.”
He went on asking each and everyone in the municipality to adhere to all the appropriate health protocols.
